KUMITID!

Kumitid
The life of Samson
•Samson's calling:
for behold, you shall conceive and bear a son. No razor shall come upon his head, for the child shall be a Nazirite to God from the womb, and he shall begin to save Israel from the hand of the Philistines."
Judges 13:5
-Samson was called to be a nazarite of God
--nazarite comes from Hebrew nazar: consecrated or separated
A nazarite is required to:
~Abstain from wine, wine vinegar, grapes, raisins, intoxicating liquors and vinegar distilled from such.
~Refrain from cutting the hair on one's head
~Avoid corpses and graves, even those of family members, and any structure which contains such
In other words, a nazarite knows the meaning of commitment and is a committed person.
But what made Samson from being a committed person to a  kumitid individual?

 Judges 14:1-4;7
I. When you do things based only on what is right your eyes.
-Samson did what was seems right in his eyes.v3
He let his eyes dictate his destiny. He went after what he saw. His eyes made him forget his purpose.
When we forget what God dictates, there is trouble.
That is why it is important to always ask God in prayer.

II. When you give in to self.
Judges 16:1
Samson did not talked all night with the prostitute.
Samson was called for a purpose but he gave way to self gratification.
The heart is deceitful above all things.
So how to prevent?
>the bible tells us that:
But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.
(1peter 2:9)
I. Do not deny your identity
Always remember who you are.
Look at who you are.
You are more than a conqueror. A chosen race. A royal priest. A possession of God.
Romans 8:37
You are loved by God.
It is you and not what you do.
A love that never fades.

II. Always Be faithful
Look at your love for God.
2 corinthians 5:6-9
" So we are always of good courage. We know that while we are at home in the body we are away from the Lord, for we walk by faith, not by sight. Yes, we are of good courage, and we would rather be away from the body and at home with the Lord. So whether we are at home or away, we make it our aim to please him."
As in a relationship, faithful. My heart will belong to no one but God. My number 1 in my "make them smile" list.
Satisfaction comes when you find what you hope for.
So extreme satisfaction comes when you find what you extremely hope for. It is really me who dictates what satisfies me. It is in my choice.
And I choose to extremely hope in God. Hope in His ways and the things He will do and teach.
That way I can be extremely satisfied, that way I delight.
Delight unto God.
God is always looking at the quality of the heart.

III. Always remember what you are called for.
Look at your destiny.
Do not exchange your destiny for other things.
Jeremiah 29:11
"For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope."
God prepared a further for you.

IV. Look at who loves you.
When you feel like giving up, remember the love God gave at the cross for you.
What He is willing to lay down for you.
Romans 8:31-39
What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare his own Son but gave him up for us all, how will he not also with him graciously give us all things? Who shall bring any charge against God's elect? It is God who justifies. Who is to condemn? Christ Jesus is the one who died-more than that, who was raised-who is at the right hand of God, who indeed is interceding for us. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword? As it is written, "For your sake we are being killed all the day long; we are regarded as sheep to be slaughtered." No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.

God loves you.
Samson ask forgiveness to God.
will you not?
Will you not commit to God?
Will you give up your commitment?
Think love!

Releasing The Generals

The Astig 144 Revolution

Romans 8:31 "What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?"

The moment you accepted Jesus Christ, you are victorious. Your identity is to be victorious, a general.

Who are the generals?

• Wars are won by the Generals
• Understand the enemies strategies
• Decide plans and seeing it executed

What must a Generals do?
Generals are Victorious
God started with a vision. He wants to have a great nation -- a nation of GENERALS.

Generals are Loving
They love men. When they knew God's love, they share it

Generals are Faithful
Hindi sila tamad. Walang General na nakatago sa kulungan nya. Ang general my ginagawa.

The Resolution

I DO solemnly resolve before GOD to take full responsibility
for myself, my leader, my cell and my friends.

I WILL love them, protect them, serve them, teach and share the Word of GOD
as one who witnessed his grace.

I WILL be faithful to my leaders and parents.

I WILL love and honor them.

I WILL lay down my life for my brothers and sisters as Jesus Christ laid down His life for me.

I WILL bless other people and teach them to love GOD
with all their heart, with all their mind, with all their strength.

I WILL pray for others and treat them with kindness, respect and compassion.

I WILL i will forgive those who wronged me and reconcile to those who I have wronged.

I WILL learn from my mistakes, repent of my sins, and walk in integrity
as a man answerable to God.

I WILL seek to honor GOD, be faithful to His church, obey His word and do His WILL.

I WILL not be discouraged for I know it is all good.

My light WILL not burn out, I WILL persevere.

I WILL uphold the truth wherever I am.

I WILL love my GOD in joy and in pain,
in abundance and in need,
in peace and discomfort.

I WILL not seek my own good but the WILL of the One who died for me.

I WILL courageously work with the strength GOD provides to fulfill this resolution
for the rest of my life and for His glory.

I am a GENERAL, I am UNSTOPPABLE.
And as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.
Joshua 24:15

Unstoppable

MORE THAN CONQUERORS
Romans 8:28-31

*When discouraged, the presence of God can wipe all things away.
IN CHRIST YOU ARE UNSTOPPABLE!

1. IT'S ALL GOOD (V.28)

God is good.
Love Your God and do His purpose!
Align Your purpose with His purpose, in that case,
everything you do in life has purpose.
God is right in the middle of your life.

2. GOD IS FOR US,
WHO CAN BE AGAINST US? (v.31)

Who can be against us? NO ONE!
And that makes you unstoppable.
God will always make sure that
His will shall be done.

You'll never be discouraged
because God is with You.

○You can overcome any trials (v.32-34)
Who can bring a charge against you will if the judge is the one who died for you.
Do not let down for your God is for You.

3. I AM MORE THAN A CONQUEROR!

Conquerors know that they already win the battle before the battle starts.

What does it mean to be more than a conqueror?
Is it either you are or not?
(v.35-37)

You are a conqueror not on Your own strength but you are a conqueror in Christ.

The verse do not tell you what to do, but tells you who you are!

"You are more than a conqueror not because you conquer but you are a conqueror because of His love."(v.37)

It talks about who you are.
Who you are is more important than what you do.

"You are a conqueror because He loved you. And nothing can separate you from His love."

Your yesterday will not define you.

You were not created to scratch around in the dirt.
You are created for destiny.
You were created for purpose.

Stop trying and start!
